COMPUTING MIXTURE TEMPERATURE FROM ENTHALPY USING NASA POLYNOMIALS

ABSTRACT:

The temperature of a mixture can be obtained by fitting an inverse polynomial function to enthalpy from the NASA database. The error associated with a polynomial of an order greater than 3 is shown to be relatively small (< ± 5K).
